The Heatherdowns Library

With hours from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Wednesday and (9:00 to 5:30 Thursday through Saturday, The Heatherdowns Library is the current home for FrogTown meetings. The Library staff have bee wonderful friends and assets for all of us at FrogTown. Come by and check it out.


The Holland Library-

The Holland branch of the Toledo Public Library has been a wonderful friend to Frogtown from the very beginning, providing us our first meeting place and many other kinds of assistance.

Visually Impaired Family Association Support

VIFAS is a non-profit organization working with local school districts in Northwest Ohio. VIFAS is proudd to be creating awareness and support for visually impaired or blind friends and family through workshops and events that target community outreach and education.

The Visual Tech Connection

We are an Ohio provider of CCTV video magnifiers used by partially sighted persons for reading, writing and viewing small objects. Free, no obligation in-home demonstrations offered.

VISUS Touch

We are pleased to announce to our friends and supporters the release and launch of our flagship product, VISUS TOUCH.  VISUS TOUCH is a patented tactile classification system designed to help persons without sight to better manage everyday tasks at home.
Persons without sight now have a significant resource to help them label, identify, organize and retrieve objects more easily than ever before. Identifying, distinguishing, and classifying medicines or items in cupboards, refrigerators or freezers can now be done with less anxiety and greater confidence.

Perrysburg Lions Club

The Perrysburg Lions Club supports vision and youth projects. We are currently working with Prevent Blindness Ohio, Inc. and Read for Literacy. Our donations include Lions Club International, Ohio Lions, Pilot Dogs, Assistance Dogs and others.

American Foundation for the Blind

AFB is a wonderful national organization devoted to advancing research and support for blind and visually impaired individuals.

Learning, Sight, and Sound

LS&S specializes in products for the blind, visually impaired, deaf, and hard of hearing. Here you will find a great collection of low vision aids, hearing helpers, daily living aids, and information designed to help you or a loved one regain independence. Adjusting to life-altering changes can be difficult, but in the case of vision or hearing loss LS&S can help you find useful products that will make a difference in your life.

EARS for Eyes

(Enrichment Audio Resource Services, Inc)- They provide, free of charge, audio cassette lesson tapes that teach adaptive daily living skills to the vision impaired and their caregivers.

Accredited Schools Online

The Accredited Schools Online organization is dedicated to helping students with visual impairments. They can help with everything from choosing the right school to helping manage the best ways to excel. Check out the link above.
